Our philosophy for hiring Care Workers is to only hire someone we can trust to care for us or our loved ones. We employ this approach because we understand the importance of hiring competent and trustworthy people who not only have the skills our clients require, but also the compassion and empathy they deserve.
At Gifted Care Services, we take great care in selecting and developing our team. We aspire to employ the best people and adopt a team approach that helps deliver the highest standards and provision of care and services because recruiting the right people is a fundamental part of our success. Our care teams not only possess knowledge, skills and experience in the ways of best practice, but also display empathy, warmth, compassion and excellent listening and communication skills.
We go beyond hiring competent people on our care team, we provide regular practical training to help them meet the high standards we set for the Care Workers who work at Gifted Care Services. Our Care Workers receive specialized training to reflect the specific needs of our clients, and this is in addition to extensive general training designed to build capacity on various competencies, engender empathy and promote full attentiveness to the wellbeing of our customer.
We are intentional about hiring you people who are passionate about caring for others on a day-to-day basis. We realize that for us to give our clients the best experience, our Care Workers have to not just be competent cares, but also exemplary people. We conduct extensive background checks and also investigate the career history of each Care Worker. Some of our pre-recruitment checks include; Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, health declaration, working history, and detailed reference checks. Our aim has been and will remain to recruit not just competent people, but empathetic people who are good models in the society.
We follow a strict recruitment procedure to ensure that all of our Domiciliary care workers are compliant with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards. Regular compliance reviews and annual reviews with relevant registration bodies to ensure fitness to practice helps us ensure that our Care Workers maintain regulatory and company standards in delivering high quality care to our customers.
In addition to the above, Nurses are required to present evidence that they have fulfilled the NMC Nurses Revalidation requirements. We ensure that all medical professionals on our teams have up-to-date certification and are validated to work in the UK by the applicable regulatory authority.
